Dear readers,
Over the past three months, in the fleeting moments between diaper changes and baby music hour, I have listened to extensive interviews, feverishly watched the polls and evaluated the candidates to see who has the integrity, vision and character to serve in the hallowed halls of the US Senate. After careful consideration, I’ve decided that only one candidate meets all of the qualifications. So today, I’m proud to share the first-ever Big Sky Chat House Senate endorsement.
It’s this container of leftover spaghetti.
In an exclusive interview with BSCH, the spaghetti and I discussed his campaign priorities, and what sets him apart from the other candidates. For one, he explained that, yes, while he is a member of the Pasta Party, there are some issues where he aligns with Democrats, and others with Republicans. He even made me a list, so I would know where he stands on each one.
He also shared his campaign financing forms; not a single Daines-backed PAC to be found! “I’m not a plant,” the spaghetti told me. “I’m noodles and sauce.”
The leftover spaghetti also noted that he doesn’t support undermining the democratic process by scheming with a sitting senator to file his candidacy less than ten minutes before the deadline, and pointed out that while he, too, has a track record of fiscal restraint, he won’t immediately cave to the contradictory whims of his TV-addled overlord.
The only thing the spaghetti does share with the three major candidates, he pointed out, is the complete absence of a spine.
Oh, and Kyle Austin seems okay, too.
